Ball Joint Splitter Separator

I need to buy a ball joint splitter and was hoping someone knows the opening capacity and jaw width i would need. Most ive looked at only have 19mm Jaw width which seems tight. Im looking to get a comparative version to that on RAVE....... Ball Joint Splitter Ref: LRT-54-027 but these retail at anything up to £300

little tip, if you are not such a good aim with the hammer, put the nut back on the end of the ball joint thread a couple of turns before you smack the arm. That way if you miss it protects the threads. Thumbs Up Lloyd Barnes

Take 2 hammers and do both sides of the eye simultaneously. Not easy to time perfectly, but the one hammer method has a very large potential for damage.
