fox hunting is a sport full stop it is the wit of the fox against reletivley stupid dogs and us people on horse back. is it not that fox hunts regulary end up with a lost chase ?

it is a sport that as you say will never die

you could argue that fisshing is as ,if not more cruel ( as they are taken advantage off with food as they are greedy and then starved of oxygen while we take photos etc for acouple of mins) could us humans put up with being in water that long without brething kit?

i do agree that if pos the fox should not suffer undualy ie shot when cornered
where i live in surrey there are hundreds of the little bleeding things that drive the dog nuts and raid bins and fight noisley in the dead of night

the infrastructure of all the hunts is still in place and creates jobs for a lot of people keep it in Thumbs Up

bloody nanny state

foxes are not extinct and judging by the population round here they wont be any time soon

thats my opinion only and not this forum Smile 02 Range Rover HSE Zambezie silver 4.4

I don't hunt, but I do shoot and fish.

I say bring it back legally, the rural communities get lots out of it, it spans all classes, its been going for centuries and a silly law didn't do much by a bunch of townies, it just served to strengthen the resolve of the country folk even more.

If they properly banned hunting, shooting and fishing would come under the microscope sooner or later.

Screw President Blair, Brown and their cronies.

I don't hunt but it is and has been a country way of culling vermin for centuries.

I say bring it back, not that it has stopped. 15MY SDV8 Vogue SE

I'd rather fox hunting with dogs than the alternatives. The fox is still a pest that must be dealt with, if dog's aren't used then they are shot (sometimes only injured) poisoned, trapped etc etc.

The amount of brainwashing that goes on in children's TV is disgusting, I remember watching Animals of Farthing Wood as a child. There was a Fox, a Badger, a Rabbit, a Toad, a Mouse and an Owl that were all friends escaping the persecution of man! In real life the fox, the badger and the owl would have eaten their furry friends. But today's 20-30 year olds have a different view.

The show skipped over mealtimes:

Got to dissagree a little on the fox hunting.

Don't think it's humane to let dogs tear a fox to bits regardless of if it's classed as vermin or not and regardless of it being an age old "sport".

I do agree with the above about once cornered it should be perhaps shot.

For us humans tho even the new version of dragging a scented rag through fields has the same result for the participant???

If the end results more humane then don't see a problem. TDV8 HST Sport **Current**

Have you nocticed the amber reflective strips in the front indicator assemblies? US spec and I'm looking for some if anyone knows of a pair. It gives it the 05+ look when coupled with the later type rear lights.

I believe they light up in the US as well? 2010 MY Vogue SE TDV8 3.6 Stornoway Grey- fully loaded
