Changed my front ARB Drop links on Sunday due to a slight knocking over rough ground - has cured the knock but now its started squeaking, doesn't say so in RAVE but should I have applied some grease / copperslip to the faces of the links? Has anyone else experienced this - does it 'bed in'?

Hardened washer reinstalled correctly too.

Think it may be my ARB bushes .... May get some silicone spray and dose it up or perhaps loosen them then retighten.

are these the ones that have to be tightened fully when on the ground so the weight of the fullfat puts the bushes in the correct position.. ... - .- -.

They were genuine LR ones from duckworths, fitted them with wheels still fitted and on ground but suspension in high mode, may try to losen and retighten while at standard height.

I suggest to take a bit of Molykote grease, thin it with mineral oil (machine oil) and use a syringe to get it into the bushes. I am going to do the same on mine. Molykote (MoS2) goes into the metal surface matrix and lasts very long with super low friction. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!

Strange thing - the squeaking only appears after driving a few miles now.

Removed and refitted links today with some copperslip on faces, also silicone sprayed bushes and no change - still squeaking after a few miles .... Think it must be ARB bushes .... Can car be driven without the links fitted to test if this is the case?

must be frustrating trying to find that squeak...not sure re driving without the links though.. ... - .- -.
