Can anybody tell me the best hands free phone kit for my 2004 Vogue ?

Best one would probably be the Range Rover retro-fit bluetooth system.

However, I went for a standalone Nokia kit with the seperate hidden speaker as I didn't want to try and butcher the wiring harness for the likes of a parrot system. It works very good, got the mic. mounted to the side of the drivers sun visor and it's a very clear sound.

But really finding it hard to fight the urge for a S/C...

The best is OEM (well BMW, actually). If you have the wiring in the car, it's also the least amount of work. You'll need the ULF-module, a BT antenna, the mic and a pairing button at minimum. The oem console and cradle are a nice touch too (cradles are avail for all sorts of phones)

hi, i had a bury hands free bluetooth kit fitted by avmobile for £180 it sit up on the dash great kit, better by far then any of the oem kits, had the 08 i drive in my m5 before and whilst that was ok no where near the quality of the bury, voice activation is very very good.

the only down side is it is not built in the same way as an oem kit.

Depending on budget I would suggest the following:

£5-10 - Go to Maplin or Tesco and buy a cassette adapter, plug it in and you have instant handsfree threought the stereo system...also great for playing your MP3 music from your phone too.

£250 - Parrot system which again allows music streaming throught th stereo speakers also.

I have used both these methods and found they work well, dare I say it better even than the factory install system that my car came with...also I have a Sony Ericson X10 and can do SatNav, music and phone calls all throught the Parrot and mine is a 2004 MY car too
