Germany 2013 Range Rover Vogue SE 5.0 SC V8 Havana
Ipod/USB kit

Well some 2,5 years ago i had for about 500 pounds at my local LR this kit installed and now its is broken - some connecting optical wire has a loose connect - for this i got to buy the whole package again Sad Big Cry All my spelling errorz are belong to me!

hmm no idea its i the original LR kit - and the car is already in pieces at the local LR dealer - i ordered an new one - since i hav to pay for the labour anyway.... Rolling Eyes Confused Crying or Very sad All my spelling errorz are belong to me!

I know it probably doesn't help, but the optical fibres can be replaced without replacing the whole kit Sad

btw - dealer is nice he gave me a new XF as a free loaner... All my spelling errorz are belong to me!

I installed this kit in my FF less than two months ago. It wasn't a hugely difficult job to do, but you do have to remove quite a lot of interior trim panels. It took me around 3 -4 hours start to finish. It can probably be done quicker but I was being extremely careful not to break any trim. This was the first time I had my car in pieces Shocked 
Had it, loved it!

The only way to get to the connections was to lay with my back in the passenger footwell.
It was an experience I hope not to repeat...
