New seat(s)?

I have the driver's seat (lhd) that has a tatty pipping (especially on the low left part when you enter the car). The seat's left side is also a bit flat.
I was wondering what were my options to get this fixed:
- Repair: how ?
- Get a new or less used driver's seat (or passenger are they exchangeable) but where
- Upgrade a full interior with a lighter color (mine is blue with cream pipping) but pricy and all other seats are rather clean. BTW, can vogue seats be put in place and operate properly as I have non memory enabled, non heated seats

btw, I just discovered that pipping was the englis word for passe-poil (litterally pass hair Wink)

It's piping (only one p) Smile Does that mean the same thing?

The front seat squabs do look interchangeable, it is a tempting swap..... .
Experience is the only genuine knowledge, but as time passes, I have forgotten more than I can remember Wink

Really? He has to find a pipin that is exactly the same color & sew it all around ?
I suppose a trimmer is the english word for "sellier" (a company that remends leather seats & so on) but strangely translation engines give me "opportiniste" Wink
How complex is the seat unmounting?

If he does not have it in that exact colour, he will dye it to match. He would either go all the way round or find a place to hide the joint. i had exactly this done on my old Merc SL.

It is the kind of place that re-mends leather.

Never removed the seat on a FFRR, but they are rarely difficult on most cars. 2011 Stornaway Grey 5.0SC Autobiography
