Driving to work in fog the other day I had a fog light bulb fail. When removing it to check the blown bulb I found the 2 x wires into the connector plug in a poor condition (one had actually broken off due to corrosion ! ). Unfortunately the damaged / broken wire is too close to the plug to be able to repair with a soldering iron and heat shrink , and also there is far too much corrosion on the wire itself for the solder to adhere too
I have seen wire and plug repair kits on Ebay but these are for the newer 2011 + models and non for the earlier 2002-07 model fogs Does anyone know where I can obtain the relevant plug/repair bit from ? I have emailed Dan but as of yet no reply , so was wondering if anyone has another supply/route I could obtain one from - I would be most gratefull

Ill be cutting my 2003 plugs off the loom shortly you can have one of those, or call anyone that does 2010 conversions they should have some. One day your life will flash before your eyes......................................make sure yours is worth watching!

isnt the bulb a h8? ...if so just ebay a h8 plug.. ... - .- -.

Probably need some waterproof tape as well, as I don't think the connector cover comes off the originals .
