United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Atacama Sand
Test driving the L405 for the weekend

Have the new Range Rover for a few days, it's a TDV8 SE.

Compared to the previous model, it's much more luxurious, less agricultural. The interior definitely has a feel of the Evoque. It's much quieter, with more direct steering and less wallow in the suspension, it also feels surprisingly quick and delivers better than 30 mpg.

It has a funny lighting system not only do the lights follow the wheels, but when you're driving along and turn with the wheel some sort of sidelights come on and shine at 90degrees to the front of the car.

Not convinced by the styling, especially front and rear lights and gills on the door and think they may have gone a bit too chi-chi inside, but its a hell of an impressive vehicle.

Cornering headlights and additional lights to illuminate at an angle when travelling under about 30mph are fairly common on regular cars now.
By regular, I mean around the 25k mark.

Yep, adaptive lights. Been on the Supercharged VSE since 2005. Got them on mine, they;re awesome, especially when turning into the gate late at night. Discovery 4 HSE

Guessing its a Vogue SE as SE as a stand alone model as dropped not too long into L322 life.
