there are a few types, the first cameras were cmos and low res, these were prone to leaking the next version were CCD and gave a far better picture added with the higher res of the touch screen, now on the 2010> they started to use HD or high res cameras if it had the surround camera system fitted but these will not fit onto the earlier system

now the early camera has a 2 pin connector for the power and ground and a coaxel for the signal
you can still find the early style fitted to the late cars but i cant comment if they are any better as i have not tried one but they will work on the early cars
just a point to think about, if you have a pre touch screen it will be low res so dont go spending big money on a after market hi res camera as you will not see the benifit.

Do you still do the updated camera, loom and mounting plate to go to a 2 pin and separate coaxial type cable?

This is for a touchscreen 2006 car with a knackered camera.

Also do you do the seat side panels for an aspen drivers seat?

but is low-res or not ? So, I may get benefit to change my rear camera for a newer hi-res ?

I know is not a 2012 but I don't know if a difference exist between ea : 2005 and 2007

Here is I know of the my screen : "The TSD is a touch sensitive, 800 X 480 pixels liquid crystal display (LCD) VGA screen which displays in a 15:9 format." so, the picture may be better but before get a new camera I'll do a test with some camera that I have (webcam etc etc)

I too am after a replacement rear camera for a 2008 model. Can you source the updated 2010 non-vision assist camera and will this fit in place of the current one?
