leak from rear possible diesel???

Ive searched the forum and cant find an answer so I think this may be a rare one

Ive noticed a film of fluid appearing on my drive over the last few days on closer inspection I discovered that it is coming from the rear of the car

ive had a light under the car and thought it was the diff seals. I jacked it up for a closer look and it seems to coming from above the diff, then dropping down on to the driveshaft then the exhaust
Ive sprayed degreaser around the area and jet washed it off
There looks like a union of some type with a electrical plug attached and I was wondering if this could be the culprit?

Anyone had a similar issue or have any ideas??

Can anyone point me in the direction of a detailed parts list or drawing of the fuel system for a 2004 TD6

I searched the web and its called a fuel dosing pump
There are 2 different manufacturers of these units, one being Webasto and the other is
Eberspacher The thing is, its that rusty and inaccessible, that I can't see which type it is
I can get both types for £70 from German ebay

Can anyone help???

According to the wiki, its a webasto fbh so would imagine its a webasto fuel pump. before replacing the pump you should check that it aint just a leaking fuel hose going to or from it. '04 td6 se

Check with Duckworths Dan for price, much better than you have been quoted by LR Thumbs Up .
