You won't get anywhere with the stealer! No rear screens or 6 disc dvd changer in the rear near side compartment means no dvd option on the front screen. It's all part of the over priced factory fitted Rear Screen Entertainment system!

It can be retrofitted but I suggest you read my write up from the D3 forum to give you an idea of what's involved!

As for upgrading the Nav maps on the hard drive this can only be done by the dealer at vast expense! They download the latest map data to your hard drive and then activate it by purchasing a code from the suppliers!

Get two tablets (Android of course) and load some movies on them. Give them to the passengers in the rear or buy some cheap holders that clip onto the head rest and your "theatre" is cheaper than the RSE by far. Don't forget to get Bluetooth headsets !!!!

I have the RSE in mine and bought the DVD changer (cheap) as mine was removed, probably due to water ingress, and I regret spending even that money as we hardly ever use it (only short drives, although that is likely to change in the future). In hindsight I should have followed my own above advice, especially since the girls already have a cheap DVD player (100 GBP) and a small laptop that would serve their needs.
