Does anyone know for 100% if the cylinders are numbered 1-6 from rear to front or 1-6 Front to back?

No1 always at the front ( cambelt/ chain) end on all engines |

Thats what i thought but im still getting high values on 5 and 6 after its all been cleared out |

Not always, Peugeot and Citroen are numbered from the flywheel. |
