Anybody considering switching order to Sport?

Looks might be divisive but I think Sport looks nice in the grey press pictures...rear is an acquired taste tho.
Spoke to dealer this am as I am considering a switch. Better V6 engine than 405 too but an AB one is £80k about 6-7k less like for like...
Anybody else considering switching? Appreciate the FF will remain the top of the range but suspect Sport is going to be a runaway success.

Well, I won’t be. But it has to be your decision based on your preferences and needs. It’s not an objective choice, but I don’t see them as rivals. Personally I’ve always preferred the full RR because of the more spacious cabin, bigger load space, and image etc.; but some prefer the Sport looks, feel and performance. I have a second car for speed and thrills so for me the RR is the main big car and does the job very well. I think both L405 and the new Sport will be big successes, and you won’t regret either. You could always get both of course Wink Norman

Past LR: L322 Vogue 4.4 V8 (2002); Discovery series1 V8 (1995)

Same here as Norman said but new Sport looks awsome in grey...just have to get used to the rear Laughing

Very very happy with the L405!

Just popped into my local dealer today.... ended up putting down a deposit for a HSE Dynamic!

Got my 3.0l Vogue arriving in 4 weeks too! Planning to enjoy the Vogue until Sept when the Sport should be arriving. I do prefer the looks of the Sport to the FF though if I'm honest (perhaps blasphemy on this site!).

Hopefully they'll be a reasonable market for a 6 month old Vogue when the time comes!

Agree with Trommel there. The old Sport was much firmer riding (too firm for me) and heavier to drive (steering) and I cannot really see why they would change that emphasis, couldn't really call it a Sport if they did. 2019 D5 HSE Lux SDV6 Indus

tbh not a fan of any of these new generation cars, longing for the day where you could get a farmer spec sport diesel for £30000 and a FFRR TDV8 HSE for £55,000. No tinsel, just pure capability.

I specked one to match my L405 and it was £7k cheaper, but then add in the premium for the SDV8 and it will be a gnats whisker different! 2019 D5 HSE Lux SDV6 Indus
