Well, I won’t be. But it has to be your decision based on your preferences and needs. It’s not an objective choice, but I don’t see them as rivals. Personally I’ve always preferred the full RR because of the more spacious cabin, bigger load space, and image etc.; but some prefer the Sport looks, feel and performance. I have a second car for speed and thrills so for me the RR is the main big car and does the job very well. I think both L405 and the new Sport will be big successes, and you won’t regret either. You could always get both of course Norman

Nothing could be worse than the TAXI rear of the old sport! I quite like the new rear....

Agree with Trommel there. The old Sport was much firmer riding (too firm for me) and heavier to drive (steering) and I cannot really see why they would change that emphasis, couldn't really call it a Sport if they did. 2019 D5 HSE Lux SDV6 Indus

tbh not a fan of any of these new generation cars, longing for the day where you could get a farmer spec sport diesel for £30000 and a FFRR TDV8 HSE for £55,000. No tinsel, just pure capability. |

I specked one to match my L405 and it was £7k cheaper, but then add in the premium for the SDV8 and it will be a gnats whisker different! 2019 D5 HSE Lux SDV6 Indus
