Hi all

Just wondering if anyone has ever upgraded to an OEM or aftermarket (think custom made) Autobiography stitched leather upgrade for the lower part of the dashboard on 2006-on L322 (see below "<042N54")

I am talking about the part surrounding the central vents, the globe box and so on, not the upper board of the dashboard, already in black leather.

If so please provide feedback and tips. I have checked on Topix how much it cost, for a jet leather vent surround facia, ref : LR009098 and it cost from £399.09 (+ £79.82 VAT) just for this bit. The upper globe box is then LR010589 @ £297.55 (+ £59.51 VAT)...

That sounds like a lot for the whole job........

Would look nice if clmbined with stiched door cards. Probably cheaper to have the car retrimmed........ There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

I think there was a guy from Latvia or somewhere offering some rather smart leather re-trimming some time ago.Looked very nice IIRC.
