Seen on another thread- I'm changing my track rod ends as we speak and they are seized solid. The other thread suggests that the track rod is available as a part, but I just called the $tealer and they reckon its part of the rack. Anyone got a part number for the rod? |

No, I've got those. I need the threaded sections that they fit onto. |

I've managed to get the old track rod ends off. Took a while and I had to make several hacksaw cuts in the damn thing, so it would basically split open. In doing so, I inadvertently cut through the taper ring that pulls down on the end of the track rod. I didn't realise it was a separate part as it looked like part of the casting and I didn't have the new one to hand to see what it looked like prior to starting. Lesson learnt there!
