As the tin tent is sat on a seasonal pitch, I thought I'd double the space and buy an awning. Its a seasonal awning too, so I can leave it up.

Park the FFRR in front with the headlights on, you should have enough light for SWMBO to start reading it from the beginning |

Well I was looking forward to putting it up this weekend. Just had an email from Bradcot saying they're out of stock till end of April! |

I've always considered an awning to be a divorce in a bag |

Nothing surer to start an argument than trying to put up an awning.

Are they good quality though? I've seen one in a showroom but that's about it. |

As a motorhomer we often marvel at our neighbours taking half the day putting up their awnings and a whole day cleaning and putting them away.

Well ours has finally arrived and I have a week off next week. We'll be taking our time with it! |

Well we got it up on Friday. Can't say I'm impressed with it. The instructions looked like a 10yr old had drawn the pics and weren't very informative.

Here's an awning tip I was once told... If you buy a can of mr sheen, one that says wax in it, spray it into the awning channel and the awning pulls round so easily. It really does make a difference. Previously..
