cant be fitted to the tdv8 as it puts the front axle over weight..

So the kit itself fits, but the issue is axle weight? If so, the weight issue can soon be overcome - and fitting a kit makes life a little easier than fabricating one! |

IIRC the frames do fit, and just require a slight mod due to a slightly different crossbar or something but nothing major and as for going over the weight limit, depends on how heavy your fitted winch is but most tend to go for warn, though hydraulic is also possible as well |

A FAKE winch?! How very dare you! ![]() Portable ones are ok, but I'd rather a front mount permanent one too. I'll likely fit a rear one also but that should be very easy... A hydraulic one would be nice, but are off the shelf pumps available for the tdv8 or would I need to make something work? |

It would work off the power steering pump IIRC and not sure how easy it is to access that on the TDV8 but basically it gets plumbed into the circuit on the outlet of it. OTher than that uprate the battery to the standard 110ah one most for on here now and stick a nice AGM or such like in the boot to help provide some juice when needed but fuse it to 100amp to keep it safe |
