If the caravan is new or newish then the Caravan Club everytime.
As IanV8 says they are not the cheapest but having said that the premiums aren't that much more and they do have a no claims discount policy. But for the peace of mind they're very good.
I have never read a bad report,on the contary quite the opposite.

Currently insured with caravan guard never had to claim so I can't say how good they are in that respect but as we are changing to a twin axle they want an extra £150 (more likely to get nicked according to the guy on the phone)
Tried the caravan club and they where £40 cheaper guess who will be getting the business this time. Gone

Good thing about Caravan Guard is that they cover you for the full retail price of a new caravan for the first 3 years …. none of this market value pish …. Thumbs Up ====================================

"Open Mike Night " sounded like a lot of fun until i found out i was going to an Autopsy

I've just checked the Caravan Club insurance details, as they supply two types, standard and super policies.

With the standard you get new for old for 5 years and the super up to 15 years.

Check out their website for further details. '88 RR Classic, '90 Classic, '93 Classic, '02 Discovery TD5, '55 Discovery 3, '01 P38 4.6, '06 L322 Vogue TD6, 2012 L322 Vogue TDV8
Wife. '01 Freelander, '07 Freelander 2.

I was with the Caravan Club but I got a cheaper quote (£100 cheaper) with the Camping and Caravan Club. New for old too.

Had various caravans over the last 12 years.... and always shop around for insurance..... I have never managed to try the Caravan club due the high prices always quoted at renewal time.. Currently with Caravan Guard and have been for the last 3 times ..... I do recommend CC Breakdown and upgrading Euro Cover when taking it to France and Spain... Been towing with a Zafira 2.2 Petrol SRI... So cannot wait to put it on the back of the RR..... Some one said I will not know its there..... cannot wait........ Europe here I come.....
