Bluefin remap TD6

Does anyone on here have one?

They seem to be very reasonably priced circa £360. The review on their site from a FFRR owner is fairly glowing too.

I know they upload a new map to the cars ecu but are they are "proper" map or do they just up a few values like fuel rail pressure?

i imagine due to the size of the company they will be a fairly conservative and therefore safe map. Probably what id be interested in with 87k under the old girls belt.

Cheers. I have read that thread in the past. Can't find anyone who actually has one fitted and has reported back on their impressions. Maybe I'm not searching hard enough Wink

France 2012 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Rimini Red

Hi
Ive just bought [3 weeks ago] a TDV8 with the Bluefin superchip fitted, cannot really comment on the difference to standard, as i have`nt driven one.
What i can say is this thing pulls like a train, averages 25mpg [all rural] i had a 4.4 vogue back in 2002, which i loved, but i don`t remember it being anywhere near as quick as this.
268bhp standard, with the buefin 320bhp, thats qute some difference.
GET ONE!!

PS; might be a bit concerned about the gearbox on TD6

Cheers SFM, those big V8 diesels sound like monsters. One day I'll get one Smile

I was hoping that the bluefin been a mass produced map from a large company would be less agressive to reduce the number of complaints they get from owners with damaged components.

I think my driving style is sedate enough to not put to much extra strain on the gearbox. Really just want the map to improve the torque when gently accelerating. At present it feels a bit laboured unless you force it to kick down and really keep your foot planted.

Was hoping there would be a couple of TD6 owners on here who had the bluefin and could give ne their opinions over a long period.
