Considering a 2010 or 2011 as an upgrade from my 06.
One of my main 'wants' is the ability to plug my iPhone 5 into car to both play music and charge the phone.
I assume this is possible without any further kit needing fitted??

I see 2010 cars advertised ''Portable audio interface'', while 2011 cars state ''Audio upload unit with USB, iPod and jack plug interface''

What is the difference if any?

IIRC the 2010/2011 are the same car albeit it some earlier ones had the 3.6 tdv8 and not the 4.4tdv8.

The interface will be the same in that you need a lead to play music from your iPhone through the system due to LR's infinite wisdom... There was a lead for £20 on the disco forum the other day which is cheap considering the new price of them! FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's
