Does the flashing icon get on anyone elses nerves ?

Which software designer sat there in his lunch break and thought What can I include that will get on folks nerves ?....I know....I'll make the arrow/triangle and the little circle of dots constantly flash for no reason whatsoever!!!...even better I'll make it so the owners cant turn it off!!!! mwaaahaaahaaa haaa haaaaa

Of course when you change the map into split screen mode....THEN YOU GET TWO of the flashing little bug**rs

The flashing thingy, is the little triangle/arrow head that represents your car position on the map.

As in James Bond movies the flashing icon means your being targeted and are about to explode.....

Ahhhhhh, I see, and there was me thinking this was some kind of special warning symbol or something different to the normal screen

It's never bothered me as I can only see it flash once before I feel I should be looking at the road ahead how long are you actually staring at the sat nav for it to wind you up so much?
