Bike carrier: Thule Easy Fold Vs Westfalia BC 60?

Hi

I am looking for feedback regarding these 2 wheel carriers, making sure they are compatible with the FF.

Thanks in advance.

I went for Thule 4 Bike Tow Bar Rack sold by Halfords for £179 (Bargain)

Solid as a rock and you can open the tailgate.

Its got full lights & Indicators too....

I'm liking this one, takes two bikes, doesn't touch the bodywork and folds compact in the boot. Good price too!

Which bike carrier did you go for in the end? I've just ordered the Thule easyfold for use with the Land Rover detachable tow bar. Thule's compatability checker site states that this combination should work.

Long story short I have... both at home!

However, the Thule on is a keeper, it is way easier to use, but fairly more expensive.

I think the West' BC60 is worth its price but is more "old school" (square tubes, rough welding, etc), so if you can afford the Easy, this is a no brainer. It is SO easy to fit, you will never think twice à fitting it. Thumbs Up l=Oo\________/oO=l l:OolΞΞΞΞΞΞΞloO:l

Great, thanks for that. The Easyfold is ordered and on the way to go with a detachable tow bar from Dan.

First sportive event registered for 17 August. So will get to use it very soon!

I ride either one of my 2 bikes 7 days a week, but only use the Easyfold twice a week to go to the track.
Again, very easy to put on and off.
Longest thing is to clean the bike once home! l=Oo\________/oO=l l:OolΞΞΞΞΞΞΞloO:l

I also bought this one - it was the only 4 bike rack I could find at the time. I'm very pleased with it, but I didn't realise it was Thule, thought it was Halfords own brand..

Which easyfold model did you get, the 931 or the 932? I had ordered the 931 from pfjones, but they've now told me that it's not available in the UK as it's 13 pin electrics (I can only get the the 932 instead which is 7 pin). As I have 13 pin electrics (and I understand 13 pin is now the standard in the UK), it deems a bit daft, unless I'm missing something.

Ordered the 7 pin, standard in France
The BC60 came with a 13 plug, still waiting for their adaptor!
there are adaptor either way around, no problem. Thule has some, but you'll find some online l=Oo\________/oO=l l:OolΞΞΞΞΞΞΞloO:l
