DCC 4x4 side steps - anyone have them on their RRs?

I am looking at ordering some side steps for the imminent TDV8, scared by the main dealer £600 prices.
One of the cars I saw had steps on it all black rubber with 4 raised treads and have worked out they must be the ones like these £295 inc carriage from DCC. Or from their ebay shop for £289.00 inc carriage

I wonder how well they go on and if anyone has seen or have hi-res shots of them?
I know they are site sponsors, wonder if they have a small discount for forum members?
I think the LR genuine steps only come with a chrome insert and 3 raised treads, but I have not yet seen a genuine LR set with my own eyes.

Are you putting mud flaps on the car as well, As the mud flaps are a specific type to fit the running boards Thumbs Up

I'm sure another Forum member Gazellio got running boards elsewhere ............. the ones he got where really smart looking ..... Thumbs Up ====================================

The DCC4X4 side steps look identical to the LR steps I have fitted to mine (cannot tell from the picture if the trim is same colour - Brunel Grey - same as door handles and grilles, but if they are constructed the same way then you should be able to remove the trim and spray them if you want/need to)

They have 2 legs which fix to the underside of the car on each side (3x bolts on each leg) and appear very simple to fit yourself (maybe a couple of self tappers to secure each of the mud flaps)

I am not keen on the look of side steps fitted to the Range Rover (I prefer them without) but are necessary when you have young children.

Forum member Full Fat Not Diet did have a set of side tubes (in black) for sale recently if you like the look of those - they might still be on offer.
