So I was about to hang my jack on the coat hooks in the rear when I found a funny plastic bit. on both sides, about 50-60 mm infont of grips/coat hook - an odd plastic hinge of some sort.

Anyone know the bit i mean ???

its prob the dog guard anchor point there should be 2 diff positions ie 4 funny plastic bits

Yup, the RR has an optional accessory of a roller blind netting used for luggage or dog guard.

On earlier models you could mount it on the tops of the folded forward rear seats so that it protected the front 2 passengers. Hence you will notice 2 sets of identical mountings in the headlining.


On later models they deleted the front set of mounts. Discovery 4 HSE

Why do they do this? It is really useful to have??
