Is the 2003 LS322 TD6 a 36mm socket for oil filter top removal?

36mm socket is correct not 35mm as above link.
You can buy the BMW "special" socket on Ebay.

Halfrauds also do a 36mm in their "professional" socket range (the black ones) .
