I am due to collect my new TDV6 Vogue SE in early Jul and have already paid 1000 GBP Deposit. What is the best way tp pay the outstanding from my account (Halifax) without getting my trousers taken down and being spanked by the bank for spending my own money?

I am currently working in SE Asia so going in to branches etc is not really an option.

If you send it to me, I'll make sure it's put in the right hands.

its old fashioned but what about a cheque?

May have to be, but just ordered a cheque book - not had one for years - and it still hasn't arrived and time is getting tight(ish)

If its a Dealer Ask them for their sort code and account number and the note/identifier they want to show its from you and then just log on to your internet banking and do it as an instant transfer the week before you pick it up.

I paid for my last 2 on my debit card, I just gave it to the dealer, he put it thought the machine & handed it to me to put my pin in, then the print out came out - simples ( first was 60k new one was 80k)

The dealer said when he worked at a Porche dealership a chap paid for his new 911 turbo & his wife's boxer with his debit card & it just wen through at 125k!
