2013 Porsche Panamera S E-Hybrid

The first Hybrid car I actually like and I think I could easily live with....

PS: Pretty sure its parked on the plain between Lermoos & Erhwald in Austria with the Zugspitz in the background a place where I spend a lot of time....

91mpg sounds impressive for any Porsche. I've always loved the Panamera, even though it seems to be a Marmite car. I also love Marmite! Very Happy My Previous RR's!

The cayenne seems to do well as a hybrid as it can power the vehicle alone at motorway speeds on electric juice cant it Smile FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

My business partner got one of the first diesel versions and it is amazing. I would love to know what mileage the battery will give in a real world test, I maybe able to go to the office and back "all electric"! Thumbs Up

Great looking car, but I'm annoyed at how car companies are allowed to quote mpg and not mention that a battery did most of the work. It's as logical as taking a FFRR SC V8, converting to LPG, then quoting the amount of petrol used when switched to LPG mode. "Oh yes, I drove from Vancouver to Halifax and only used 2 tsp of petrol." Evil or Very Mad

I just can't bring myself to do business with Porsche. The marketing (which JLR seem to follow now) dept is much more powerful than the engineering dept and is all about segmentation positioning targeting. The same engine in a Boxter produces 10bhp less than in a Cayman just to position them slightly differently. Rubbish. If I was a boxter owner I'd be asking what did you do with my 10bhp, and may I have it back?
