PLEASE READ Shocked Shocked Shocked

OK the keys will start going out, as stated it will be standard post, if you want anything quicker than you will have to pay the difference. For those of you abroad I will check and get back with some prices.
WARNING, when you start your car with the key make sure the transponder is with the key, don’t be tempted to just test it with the chip next to the key, as when the car rolls the security code if the chip is not in distance it will not be updated with the new code, this happens each time you start the car, do not introduce both chips to the car as this can also cause problems and lock the EWS and then your car will not start even with the original key.
Step 1...first thing is you need to make sure you can sync the key,
http://s266.photobucket.com/user/daveo1000...2544040538
procedure; all remote handsets for use with the vehicle must be initialised.
Initialisation Procedure
1 Ensure the vehicle is unlocked and the driver and front passenger doors are closed.
2 Install a key/remote handset in the ignition switch, and then turn the ignition switch to position me and back to position
0 in less than 5 seconds to put the BCU into the initialisation mode. Continue the procedure within 30 seconds
of turning the ignition switch to position 0.
3 Remove the key/remote handset from the ignition switch.
4 Press and hold the unlock button for a maximum of 15 seconds. During this time, momentarily press the lock
button three times within 10 seconds.
5 Release both buttons.
6 Successful initialisation is indicated by the BCU locking then unlocking the vehicle. If this does not occur, repeat
step 4.
7 Repeat steps 4 and 5 with all other remote handsets belonging to the vehicle (4 maximum). Begin the
initialisation of each remote handset within 30 seconds of completing the previous initialisation, or the BCU will
drop out of the initialisation mode and the complete procedure will have to be started again. If you cut the blade or glue it together before checking this and there is a problem with the board they will not cover it,
Step 2 ...spare blades at the moment are like hens teeth so make sure it is done properly, after the blade is cut check it in the door to see if it unlocks, if all is good and the sync is done then put your transponder chip in the key, next pop it in the ignition and start the car, let it run for a while then turn off..Job done, run around for a few days with a cable tie around it until you are sure all is ok.
Step 3... When gluing the shell together do not over glue as if it goes on the board and there is a problem again they will not cover it.

The new style keys come apart very easy and with a thin flat blunt point you can flip the back off,

this will expose the board that comes out and then you can remove the silicon plug and insert your chip,

replace the plug. Refit the board and clip the back on...Job done.
The chrome side covers do clip off for those that may want to colour code the key.

Ok, on the original land rover flip you will need to sync the key, you don’t have the flashing light to tell you whats going on so listen out for the doors lock and then unlock,
These keys are new and still tight; I like to double wind the spring to give that bit more of a flick.
Then you take the key apart it will spring all over the place, don’t worry...
You should have these parts...

When you have the cover in two remove the circuit board
,
Now remove the rubber base cover,

this is where your chip will go, a spot of glue will hold it in place as in the picture, replace the rubber base and then the circuit board.
On the top cover you will find the key holder may be a bit tight,

this will loosen up after a while but if you want you can give a little sand and then a small bit of Vaseline and it will flick a lot more smoothly.

please remember, sync the key first, if you come back to me saying you cant sync it but have had the blade cut i can not return it...dont glue it together until you have used it and sure theres no problems,
i have had very little problems with the keys from this supplier, i have been through the keys and they all enter the sync mode so if you cant get it to sync just take a breather, relax and then give it another go...

Hi, sorry for the delay...all keys have been tested and are ready to go out, please could you drop me a pm with your postal address,as i am having trouble getting into paypal to confirm addresses.
the transponder chip is preglued in, if you would like me to remove it as it can be tricky, not a screw driver job as you will damage the case.. let me know and i will remove it for you...a few drops of de-onder and a pic gets them out.
