What would you recommend I do?

I now have my first FFRR after owning Freelanders and Disco's each of which gave me little or no trouble- Honestly. Reading this forum however has given me major cause for concern re the FFRR reliability. So my question is this-- I have 1k to spend on my TDV6; new alloys and tyres?, a warranty?, an IID Tool and a major service? What would you recommend?Reading the forum I,m leaning towards the warranty especially as I,m going away with it for 3 months.

TDV8? or TD6? There's not TDV6.

Personally (and it is a topic for debate) I'd buy the warranty unless you're happy to fix stuff yourself. Graham

It's the TD6 then. If I've got to save for a new gearbox I've answered my own question. I'll get a warranty

2013 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Baltic Blue

I have done c. 105,000 miles so far in 8 years, towing 2 bloody great horses ( in a trailer !) every 2nd weekend and have had no issues with the gearbox whatsoever..... the other stuff is a different matter

IMHO get a warranty 2013 L405 Autobiography Baltic Blue

firstly i would fill in my car profile ,thats free btw, secondly dont worry about any thing going wrong until it does....put the £1k in the bank and enjoy driving the range. ... - .- -.
