Contacted my local RR dealer and asked for a quote to supply and fit a new Rad to my 2004 V8 vogue - after a sharp intake of breath and telling them the price I was expecting to pay for the part he replied that they would happily do the work if I wanted to source the part |

That was the strange bit - they are happy to fit whatever part I provide. "On first name terms with my local Dealer......now."

Yes I could have done it myself but I don't have the time at the moment - I would probably end up spending a weekend doing it (making a special tool for the fan removal etc) - I would rather get them to do it in 2 hours. The total for them to fit it and Dan to supply the radiator was less than they quoted originally for the radiator alone so I am happy with the result. |

The viscous fan doesn't have to come off to change the radiator |
