rear break disc and pads

my rear pads and disc's are on there way out

No reason why you can't.
I just have a thing about the quality of Britpart merchandise particularly when used in important areas such as brakes etc. Even more so when they have drilled holes in them. Smile

I always say to never ever by discs with drilled holes. If they get enough heat in them the heat and colling affect soon starts to them cracking. Very common on Fiat Coupe 20vt's Dimples/grooves or Kangaroo pad discs are much better Smile FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

Not sure about that Stan, but the holes soon fill in with compacted brake dust

What does GCAT stand for?

I have seen this on many items on ebay and a supplier said it meant General Catalogue??? What does that mean?

I've used drilled disc's on everything I've owned from Mercedes to Maserati, and now on the range, I've done around 5,000 miles with no problems or much wear!
The stoping power seams to be great and less fade after long motorway journeys compared to the solid disc's the were on there originally!
