Have a strange problem which is confusing me. Fitted my car with genuine LR tow electrics and modules. When I plug a trailer in the tell tail light on dash lights perminently. On my old car, this light flashed only when towing and indicating. Have tried with 13 pin in caravan and adapter on car trailer with same result. Is there a fault or do all FF just light the trailer symbol permanently? TDV8 Vogue SE 2009.

I had the same moment of confusion when I moved from the Sport to the FullFat. In short it stays on in the FFRR when the trailer is connected. Any issues with bulbs will show on the screen in the dash.

mine does that as well, i think it varies depending on year, but mine, with gen lr electrics stays on permanently, if there is a fault it pops up on the display under the speedo.

Great. Thanks for the info gents. By law you have to have an audible or visible confirmation so be interesting when they test the plug at MOT next time round.  TDV8 Vogue SE 2009.
