torque converter change costs

Whats the cost for changing the TC, (work and materials) on a 2003 td6? -03V td6
-72 Cadillac Coupe DeVille 7,7liter.

The cost for me was £1200 Inc vat. 2003 Range Rover HSE 3.0 TD6
Java Black, Cream Leather Heated seats all round, Sat Nav, Rear TV's.

England 2011 Range Rover Autobiography TDV8 Santorini Black

Is it worth getting the whole transmission replaced at the same time?

My gearbox has done nearly 140k and it looks like I now have signs of the TC slipping at low revs on slight inclines. Gear changes are smooth, but I am worried that I change the TC and then have the gearbox fail in 6 months.... Tom

Iw had the transmission rebuild and got a new TC.
Cost 3000BP. -03V td6
-72 Cadillac Coupe DeVille 7,7liter.
