Hi,

This is my first post on the forum and it regards my L322 4.4 2006

Here are some of the symptoms I need help with please.

Engine management light flashing.
Rough running engine
Smells very strongly of petrol fumes
Excessive smoke.
fault code P1117
All faults from bank 2

I have relpace the MAF due to the fault code and 02B2S1, but this had no effect. Any info greatly appreciated

Probably goes without saying but flashing EWL means stop engine now unlike the steady light.

Suggest engine off, get someone with proper diagnostics round to your house! Sounds like bank 2 fuel system has gone belly up?

Also have you an '04 or an '06 (you say '06 in your post but your car says '04 ?) ? .

Sorry that's a typo should read 2004, 56 reg.
The only people I know is our main dealership T H Whites. I have used them in the past they are expensive but they know what they are looking at. I might tow it to them.

still cant be a 2004 with a 56 reg, something wrong there..

you wont be able to tow the range, it'll have to be lifted...

if you're an AA or RAC etc member get them to come and 'try' to repair it and that way you could find out whats wrong.. ... - .- -.

Ah can't believe I typed the same mistake twice, well spotted Stan. It is indeed a 54 plate.
I have got an auto electrical company coming out today to have a look at it for me. Someone I spoke to yesterday suggested it could be the coil pack due to the amount of fuel it is chucking out the exhaust. but hopefully I will find out today what I need to do next.

i've just put ''p1117 mass or volume air flow circuit low input (bank 2)'' into google and got faulty mass air flow sensor so it might just be that..
