satnav/radio/cd not working

G'day

I have a TD6 MY06 Vogue and have the landrover logo on my display, a flashing orange light on the left hand on/off button and can't do a thing with it. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this

Try battery disconnection procedure first (wiki), see if that clears things up.

If not, it is a dive into the left hand side of the boot to check all the connections to the various gizmos (SatNav/TV/Radio/Amp etc). It is either a dodgy connection or one of the gizmos has failed.

It is unlikely to be the screen/dash end of things as you are getting a picture .
Experience is the only genuine knowledge, but as time passes, I have forgotten more than I can remember Wink

Did you get this sorted? As mine has just done the same, have checked connections in the boot and have a red light on one of the optics coming from the front of the car, when i dis-connect it from the network.
Tried the battery disconnection still the same. First problem i have had with the car after 4 years ownership! do or do not there is no try.....

I would also suggest you check the fuses inside the glovebox compartment. One may have popped.

When I was installing my hybrid TV receiver a while ago, I accidentallt touched the power cable from the TMC module against the module as I was reinserting the lead...next thing I know, got the exact same symptoms as you described. I checked all the fuses and it turned out to be a 5amp fuse for the TMC had blown.

You never know, it could be something as simple as that.
