I put a set on mine because the original paint was worn on every handle. Painted them in Stornaway and IMO they look great. My Previous RR's!

have them on mine and they have an edge, but tbh i have stopped noticing them now, and they look better than the manky ones underneath. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

I have them, obviously in silver, and felt the same as you regarding the edges. But I soon got used to it and the improvement in looks far outweighs those brief seconds when opening the door.

So is everyone who has them saying the same thing, that they DO have this sharp inner edge?

The "sharp" edges are typical for the fabrication process of them. Removing the "sharpness" is a matter of elbow grease, take some sandpaper and smooth them out. I didn't like the look of mine (brushed stainless) as well as the rough edges. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!

I too feel its worth the brief feel to achieve a much improved "look". |

The cost of new door handles, plus the "difficult" installation make the covers a good alternative. I'm still happy I went for new handles (I got them cheaply) as the car was immobile due to parts not having arrived anyway.

As above , I don't like the sharp edge, but for the cost, prepared to live with it. Chipped Brunel grey wound me up every time I finished washing it. |

Been following this one with interest. My new motor also has wear and tear to the handles - but also the recesses behind them. Covers won't sort that out . . .

I put some cheapy plastic chrome ones on, a much better look than the flaking brunel originals. These have just started to oxidise a bit on the vertical faces, after a couple of years, but still look very good. Also, being "chrome", rain water collects and stays on top so you can get a wet hand when opening up. Not a problem with the edges though, hardly notice it now. Fact is it is easily reversible if one wants to go back and get a paint job. .

Actually they can - you can sort the wear out on the recesses with these if you find them to your taste: https://www.pimpmyrange.co.uk/products/doo...01s7g458e1 Haven't tried them myself, but had the Java Black door handle covers from the same people on my previous 322 and they were good - and I didn't notice sharp edges.
