help needed for a friend as he has lost tv in motion

Both a friend and I had our ffrr's serviced and had the pressure the compressor has to pump up to altered by an ex Landrover master tech.

In doing so my friend has realised he has lost his tv in motion. His wife uses the car to keep their daughter amused as they drive long distances every day.

He has had the master tech back out to try and rectify the problem and the only way the master tech knows of enabling tv in motion is by changing something to think its in Japan. He has tried this and it hasnt worked. He is at a loss of how to get it working again.

It's a2003 td6 vogue, he bought the ffrr with the freeview and tv in motion already installed so he has no idea what kit is in there.

Can anyone shed some light on how he can get it back on, what the master tech wiped when he code read and altered the compressor settings.

He used a laptop and I think he has the proper software from RR.

I Know tv in motion is frowned upon by many but he needs it to entertain his daughter only and not for driver use.

Hope some one can help or point us to things to check.

Thanks in advance

Your friend Whistle would be better off buying an iPad or cheap tablet or even an old DVD player from eBay than having the TV on......

The TV in motion is generally done using an additional piece of hardware - a cable that plugs in line in the boot

Some ideas in this thread, but the best advice is just don't do it.
