2019 Range Rover Vogue SE SDV8 Santorini Black

My car is a ticking time bomb

Well, that's a bit much, but it IS ticking!

When it's locked and all shut down, I can hear a single clicking noise, it's loudest when I get near to the OSF wheel arch.

It's every 12 seconds.

Anyone know what it is?

I'm not concerned but if there's something active it could mean battery drain that's all. Discovery 4 HSE

Does it stop after the usual 20 or so minutes shutdown time?

fbh on a 5.0 ?..wrong side anyway..

there's a big black box in the engine bay on that side , it contains a load of electrical's so i wonder if its a relay or similar.. ... - .- -.

It does it all night and day after shutting down.

I agree, sounds like a relay click. Another for the snag list... Discovery 4 HSE

This ticking noise has been diagnosed as the VBUS battery backup for the alarm system and is being replaced by the Dealership under warranty. Discovery 4 HSE
