Code reader needed?

Hi All,

I have the "Air Sus Inactive" warning on the dash. All the suspension lights are out.
After some reading on here I had a look at the compressor in the boot only to find water in the wheel well!
I've dried it all up and disconnected the battery as per the instructions but still no change.

Does anyone local'ish to Swindon have an error code reader that I could pop round and use?
I want to make sure that it is the compressor and not something else before paying for it to be fixed/replaced.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

you'd be wise to invest in an IIDTool which will clear your present and any other fault errors you will get..

i live in swindon and have one but its vin locked to my range.. ... - .- -.

Cheers Stan,

I don't really want to spend £300 on a reader then another £300 on the compressor.

Stan do you think these are the best ones to have
http://www.island-4x4.co.uk/diagnostics-wo..._3260.html
We've just brought our first L322 V8 Vogue tuesday night and we had the amber light up when we picked it up but after a quick bit of haggling over the price and what to do, we took it subject to finding out what was up
After £90 and a free health check at Harrwoods pulborough they reset and found lambda sensor at fault
But checked its operation and reset fault code
Poss £300 if required quoted but they said see how it goes
So want to buy one myself

Cheers

firstly please fill in your car profile so we know what you have ..

there are 2 versions, 1 has bluetooth the other hasnt...with the BT one you can control the IIDTool functions via a mobile phone or tablet if it has BT smart [version 4]...

not only can you clear errors you can also play with the cars config file [ccf] ... - .- -.
