Trying to source a large imperial socket set

Anyone know a supplier?

Seems the large imperial sizes are only impact sockets which are very expensive. Need it to dismantle my aeroplane engine. It's the large sizes beyond 1 inch that I need. Already have the others.

Elora do a nice 31 piece 3/4" drive set that has both Metric and Imperial or a 15 piece Imperial set

Not cheap though Shocked

How about an ex military surplus supplier ?

I've been to this one a couple of times - they appear an extensive tool selection for military stuff . . . .

I bought a second hand Elora 31 piece set a few years ago from ebay for less than £100, worth keeping a look out. They looked brand new apart from a couple of scuffs on the inside of two sockets so they were probably stolen Laughing Laughing

Well there's my mistake - looking for imperial instead of AF. What does AF stand for?

Not exactly John. AF is ONE of the imperial range, as is Whitworth, BSF, BSC, BSP etc.
