United Kingdom
cheap £2 rear wheel arch protection

So after spending time repairing the front edge of my rear wheel arches,[they all rust there sir], I was looking for a way to protect them to a degree, I remembered reading somewhere on here that someone had put some rubber trims that they had got from duckworths, so I thought I would do something similar.
last year I repaired a rover 414,s rear wheel arch, [they all go there sir lol], and remembered that they had a protective rubber trim running along the length of each rear wheel arch lip, so off to the scrappies, found 2 decent trims off a rover 45, and a bit of cleaning and trimming, and they look almost factory, grand total of 2 quid, I greased them as well before fitting, so hopefully wont have to touch the arches again. cheers hammie
The rover 400 series, 45 and also the Honda civic have these fitted.[img]
