Could it be one of the rear hatch door latches requiring adjustment, there are three. Mine needed adjusting but i'd describe the noise I was hearing as more of a rattle.

So, after having the car for 4 days, and being promised it back with replacement shock absorbers this afternoon, suddenly they are now, "on back order" and will be 2-3 weeks?
