They have not set up the hand brake shoes correctly!

It's the drum part of the disc that will be affected. It will be blue / black from the binding - it will be the shoes that may be knackerd and depending how hot it got you may have warped the disc but you won't know until you rtrip it down. |

Appreciate it's now sorted and identified as a brake issue, but interesting to read someone had a wiring loom fault. My previous Volvo XC90 D5 had an almost identical intermittant fault and was after 5 trips to a garage identified as a faulty wiring loom on the injectors....not before all 5 injectors were replaced...I got my money back on the injectors but goes to show a proper series of checks can be the the key |

Sorry to hear Trev, but at least it seems the problem is still brake related and not gearbox or engine |

Got the FF back today.. been away for a few days and left it with them on Tuesday to sort out
