Hi All

Need to reset an engine management light to help diagnose issues either with MAF or an O2 sensor.
I see there are posts for an OBD tool that is wifi that works with Apple. I am not an Apple owner (not a fan), but wondered which version should i get (and which app) for Android?

Any ideas?  FFRR 2003 Vogue V8

i have used the OBD Torque app on my samsung Note android.. i think it is still free. 2011 4.4 TdV8 Nara Bronze

the IIDTool works on android if it has 'bluetooth smart version 4'...the newer android handsets have BT v4..
or you can get the normal IIDTol which uses the dash readout to navigate..

Torque Pro is very good and constantly updated, and worth paying a small fee for.

Not had to use it for diagnosis as I have All Comms & IID tool for that, but helped me resolve "which coil pack" had given up the ghost on my Audi Cabriolet V6

Can also be used as a dashcam

Bear in mind, i have the v8 4.4 petrol RR FFRR 2003 Vogue V8

It says at the bottom "Not fit for Android 4 and up" so if your phone or tablet is less than about 3 years old it won't work.

That one should be fine, it will work on both diesel and petrol engines, stan was just having some fun.

Do an eBay search on "elm 327" to see a few more examples.

At £6, i thought it was worth a punt. Even if it clears spurious faults, i am happy. FFRR 2003 Vogue V8

I bought the ELM 327 as I won't be carrying the Faultmate with Toshiba around all the time . Just to keep track of what is going on while on the move !! MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!
