Help: no radio signals

Hi all,

I changed my BM53 module with an upgraded BM54 that was coded to work for Asia region. The upgrades include higher amps output, BT music stream, AUX input and all work perfect! The existing TV, CDC, DSP also continue to function normally as before. (Great thanks to Baris...I'm sure many of you know his work Thumbs Up )

The problem is that now I can't get any radio signals. Only a hissing sound throughout the frequency band.
I have setup my radio region to OCE but still cant pickup any stations. Perhaps anyone can suggest other ideas to try?

Thank you all...

Richard

Hi all,

I'm just back from a long trip, so finally got a chance to look at my radio module again yesterday.
Seems that everything is connected properly, including the antenna. I also played around with the settings again.
No success so far. Anyone has other ideas to explore?

Thanks...

Richard

put the old unit back in and if that works with the radio then you'll know its the new unit at fault. ... - .- -.
