central heating broken

so it had to happen, we got our first frost down in Swindon and our central heating has broken...its surprising how we take it all for granted..... Sad ... - .- -.

Whats the condition of and how old is the battery? If around 3/4 years old I would put a new one on.. Laughing Laughing Laughing

Is it a condensing boiler? I have read of lots of problems with the outlet pipe freezing in the frosty weather and the boiler will not start because of this... Previously..

its the gas valve gone Archie, which is the first break down in 20 years except for the common thermocouple failure which is easy to do... ... - .- -.
