Such a beautiful car, I am really very tempted. Having owned an S Type R and knowing how savage that was I can't imagine how a range rover behaves having the same engine!

nice example ! Just as good as my former 2007 SC with 50 k miles on the clock i got 21k pounds for mine as part ex on the 2010 SC i bought from a dealer... All my spelling errorz are belong to me!

I know Angel....I can't BELIEVE how the prices have come down.

It breaks my heart. It's currently at £14,250 on eBay with 44 watchers, so I reckon it should finish north of £15k, but still it's a super cheap car.

And yes Neil - have definitely got the Jag bug.

I'm actually picking up the RR "replacement" tonight - it's not really a replacement as such, other than it will be the dog transport and useable if / when it's wintery.

I've found a 2006 X-Type 2.5 V6 4WD Auto Estate Sport Collection with only 31k on the clock. *Insert Mondeo joke here*.

It's no Range Rover, but it's actually a lovely thing (for the money) in dark grey with black heated leather and piano black inlays. It also has quite an impressive spec. Nav, bluetooth, voice control, Alpine stereo, iPod connectivity, front and rear parking sensors, cruise etc.

Although with the new XKR parked next to it, I can only see it being driven through necessity, not choice!
