Hi I’m new here,

I have a 2000 P38 4.6HSE
About 3 months ago it had two new rear air bags fitted and the system was reset with EAS Unlock and all was well for about 6 weeks. Then it started to get slower and slower to go up and now the EAS pump will not switch on automatically.
• I have done the short circuit at the relay and the pump works (although it is noisy and has been for a while, currently waiting for the repair kit to arrive from the UK)
• I have tested the tank pressure switch, that seems ok
• I have tested the pump overheat circuit, that seems ok
• I have had the EAS Unlock reset software connected and used that to switch on the pump and that works ok
• I have used the soap test and the car has no leaks!
I have run out of options!
PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

Hi dude - the focus around here is mainly on the FFRR L322 but from your post it sounds like your P38 is doing one of two things...

The pump is worn out hence taking longer , assuming the system is similar to the l322 it is shutting down due to the time taken to prevent further damage to the pump. Your fix kit should show if this is the case.

The other option, and this may be fate... is that it is telling you to get a L322 and treat yourself. That would explain how you found your way here Its too late now, you've looked in to the light
