I used the car today and noticed lots of serious problems:

Most importantly the Instrument Binnacle Language is now in French rather than English! Even though the NAV is set as GB Female.
The "Time to Destination" is no longer functioning, even though I have manually selected this option with NavCoder.
I can no longer adjust the date via the car, the only way I got this to work was by using NavCoder.
The Volume of music/radio no longer lowers when the nav speaks, making it impossible to hear the directions.
The speed camera warnings do not work at all.
The postcode search worked once and now I just get a black screen when I go into the "info on location" menu.

So all in all, not very pleased at all.

I'm now stuck with a NAV that doesn't know when it's going to get there, and not knowing what my instrument display is telling me as all the warnings are in French.

These are not features I'm willing to live with. Now I need to find the old CD to revert back to the old version.

Hi Dave,

I got it from these guys http://www.bmwnavi.co.uk/

I'm just downloading a new V32 OS disc now and will re load that. Is a shame because I liked the idea of the speed cam alerts. The disc I had already had little pictures.

I just hope it resets my binnacle language back to English otherwise the only other thing that will do it is a trip to the stealer to be plugged into T4.

If this CD doesn't work I'll drop you a PM!

Dan

I've just installed it and everything now works fine Confused maybe modded V32 can be replaced with a different modded V32?

I upgraded to v32.2 from http://www.bmwnavi.co.uk/

Then I downloaded this one: http://rapidshare.com/files/145894040/NAV_SW-32_mod_LR.rar.html

Correct, The new one doesnt have the camera options in the "SET" menu as the new one did. But it has the camera's in the POI so they are just overlaid on the map if that makse sense?

Hi, Can anyone tell me where I can get a Europe map update for my 2005 touch screen RR as I don't fancy paying dealer prices and it currently has the original 2005 dvd.

Just 'testing' a 2009/2010 Navteq Eastern Europe DVD because it includes Greece. What a joke, the area I'm in, Halkidiki (one of the busiest holiday areas in Greece) the coverage is zero unless you need to know if you are on the land or in the ocean. According to this 'latest' map disk no roads exist here. Google and MS maps show a comprehensive road system so why not Navteq?

I'm glad I was able to 'evaluate' the DVD before I shelled out almost £200 on a useless DVD!
