IIDTool BT & S4

Anyone able to connect their IIDToolBT to a Galaxy S4 specifically running Android 4.3?

Spoke to GAP team and they informed me their test S4 was not yet running 4.3 so were unable to confirm.

i thought that as long as the device has bluetooth version 4 [smart bluetooth] it should connect .. ... - .- -.

mine wont connect .... not sure if its a tool or phone issue.

Yes, we have reports from several sources with BLE probs. It is unlikely that it is a prob with the IIDTool.

If you google Android + BLE or "blue tooth 4.0" you'll find all sorts of info.
Or S4 + BLE, or S4 + "blue tooth 4.0", or..... 
RRC 2Dr, RRC 4Dr,
P38, and 2 L322s
(wife thinks I'm nuts - prob right, too)

an email from Patrick informs me that ,

''Turns out, even if Android 4.3 is available on the S4, it won’t connect to the IIDTool BT. Samsung did not remove a locking/restriction mechanism which prevents it from working. Nothing we can do about it until Samsung fix this'' ... - .- -.
